- SEND Santa Specials for opening weekend
- Locomotive Partnership Announcement
- October Steam Gala was successful, with footfall and revenue up on 2023. Visiting 9F loco, Furness ad Barclay loco were very popular as were the brake van rides.
- Halloween Trains again run without issue, small increase in revenue and footfall, however we did run an extra evening on 31 October.
- DMU Gala well attended and doubled revenue on 2023, a big draw was the HST from Intercity 125 Group. The group loved the railway and had a great time.
- ELR will be working with Bury College to increase our digital marketing presence, initial meeting with college went well and they are keen to support us further.
- 4th Diner Carriage will be added to Festive Lunches and Diners from Dec 4th, and also Burns and Valentines Diners in 2025
- ELR has had to hire in coaches from West Coast Railways from Santa season due to insufficient vehicles with operable toilets.
