Here are the headlines:
- Diesel Gala – Hugely successful. Our thanks to Freightliner who supported this year’s Summer Diesel Gala with the first visit of Class 70 to the railway. Their last remaining Class 47 in service also attended, Freightliner provided this to us at no charge.
- Heritage Open Weekend at Bury Transport Museum is being planned on the 7th and 8th September to coincide with National Heritage Week. This will include a partnership with the Fusiliers Museum, Bury MET and Bury Arts and Culture Museum, and we are also working with Rossendale to support their activities at the Weavers and Textile Museum.
