Our drive a train experiences – whether you choose steam or diesel – will see you stood on the footplate and in full control of the engine. We’ll teach you everything you need to know and take you to some amazing places that the general public never gets to see.

Our steam train footplate experience typically takes place on a Friday or a Monday. They last all day, starting at 8.30am at Bury Bolton Street Station and finishing back there at approximately 5.00pm.
